Techno Make-overs

Following the topic I've been meditating on... Is it technology ripping us off from our human being natural state to a more artificial, cold and unproductive place?

Let's think about the unrealistic perfection they show on magazine covers... Normally it is all created behind a screen with the help of the magic touch of Photoshop.

The blog Jezebel.com offered a $10,000.00 reward contest for the person who could submit the most striking example of Photoshop-generated perfection used on a magazine cover.
The winner was a Redbook magazine cover featuring country singing star Faith Hill.
The natural beauty of this 39 year-old mother was ironed down to a more Cosmopolitan-cover-ready look with "a bit too much" photo retouching, sad.
